computer help

i am wanting rig my laptop to my TV does anyone know wot leads i need the computer is a Compaq presariof500 and the TV is a LG not sure of the model as I'm not at my house if you need to know that

I have a lead like this connecting my laptop to my LCD

What i'd like to know is how do i get to use my TV as a seperate monitor, ie surfing web on one and poker on t'other? If at all possible?

Depends on whether your tv has a DVI input and you have a spare DVI output on your PC. If so then a DVI cable will link the two and hey presto 2nd monitor.

if ou onl have a vga output on your pc then you can get a dvi-vga adaptor
