I was bored so just saw an episode of this on channel 5.

I have never seen such a bad game of poker in my life. Things such as open folding KJs on the button.

Anyone else unlucky enough to waste an hour or so watching this?

It certainly seemed quite a passive game. I'm not going to get into discussions about right and wrongs of women only games.

The player who passed KJ on the button is, I believe, fairly new to poker although she has played a bit live. She was a little unsure of some of the poker etiquette when she went all in for example so I think she would be expected to play quite passively.

I remember Michael Greco saying that the tv cameras either make you a complete show off or you tend not to play so many hands as you are concerned about being 'found out'. This table was one similar to how he described, Debbie raising too many to allow her to get away with it for too long and the other player folding KJ in an unopened pot on the button.

I think it was mentioned that the passive player was Nic Persuads girlfriend, not sure if that's true but if she is, when he sees the footage, she'll be getting some great pointers. I enjoyed the game if only because I enjoy watching any players style so I can use it if I ever play against them.

I can appreciate how the TV cameras might affect your game, especially if you're fairly new to poker.

I was just suprised at how conservative the players were, especially considering the aggressive blind structure, although due to the way the show is editted i'm not sure how long the clock is - i'm guessing not long.

There were a few examples of good play. The red headed girl's bet with AJ getting AK to fold was funny as I didn't think she had it in her to bluff a pot.

Having watched the episode on channel 4 last night I couldn't help think it'd be fun to watch one of hellmuth/dwan/tonyg etc playing in that game.

I dont think im too bad a player but im certainly not great. I dread the day that I would ever play a televised event as i know I would probably totally clam up and look a complete idiot.

Saying that i might try to sat the laddies event :-)

TBH i think any woman playing live in a casino should beg to have it aired during the evening and let the guys make their own conclusion ;-)

I felt incredibly frustrated for Bev - as she clearly wanted to be in there - just cldn't hit the deck for love nor money

I think the blinds go up every 21 hands
