My lappy has started with aabout a one inch plack border around the screen.

I've been running the display at less than full resolution and if I select full resolution the display fills the available screen again, but if I lower the resolution, rather than alter the size of the objects being displayed, it reduces the size of the display itself.

If I choose the lowest resolution, I have a postage stamp size display surrounded by a thick black border.

Help..........

Well if you tell an ipoker client to run full screen, it automatically adjusts your video resolution and SHOULD return it to previous resolution on exit.

So, maybe some new software or something you've run has adjusted your resolution automatically.
