Regardless of Frankie's perceived abilities at poker, I like him - at least he is a laugh and the banter can liven up a soporific session. I know he can be a little loud at times but from someone like me who is the 'quiet sort' I quite admire it.

Anyway, enough of Frankie, I just wanted a barrage of criticism for folding AKs

Folding AK pre flop in a live cash game is wrong, unless you know your opponent inside out.

I think I sat next to him at the DtD 300..he's the guy that knocked me out...didn't see him play a lot of hands..he talks a lot though...you're not missing out on much, he did my head in.

I went to ALEA in Nottingham on Tuesday to check it out, as I had heard they were now running cash games after the tournaments.
Getting there at midnight was a mistake as I still had to wait 90 minutes for a short handed table to get going.
Anyway, the table is a straddle happy £0.50/£1 No Limit Holdem.
I have been busy, but not getting much respect. Most people seem happy to gamble away their blackjack money and getting in good spots is proving difficult. We are seven handed.
I am in middle position. Frankie-the-best-player-in-China is sat to my immediate right. UTG limps, Frankie limps, I raise to £6 with
A player to my left re-pops all in for about £35. He has openly said the lot will be going in any time soon and he doesn’t need a good hand to do it with either.
It’s folded round to Frankie who now shoves all-in for £130 ish,
I got this far and my fist was in the air.
I thought the analysis was going to be about how best to get the money in the middle.
The hard work's been done for you.
Snap please.

Ok I've just read the other posts and it's already been said.
LeKnave's reply sums this up so well it's untrue.

I dont think I could ever fold this hand at .50/1
I like Frankie to, he's a comedy joker, but I would also use those words to describe his game!
He makes that move with any A or K in my book.
Id fist pump so hard Megan would hit the roof.
You say this doesnt mean he cant be dealt AA or KK but obv it means if we do this 100 times he shows up with a lot less a lot more than other players would.
