Any recomendations for Web design software?
Ive had Dreamweaver for a few years and my laptop has crashed, reformatted but ive lost all my backups in a house move Sad
So, anyway before i re-invest in new software im looking for any recomendations, is there anything new outhere i should be looking at?
By the way, im a n00b, i like dreamweaver because i found it easy to use with pretty good results.

Cheers!

I'm afraid as a computer science grad I'm going to have to give an elitist answer:

Notepad.

Or a more advanced text editor.

Find a site you really like the look of.

Go to view ----> source

Change a few words to make it yours.

Sorted.

I use netobjects fusion. It's perfect if you haven't a clue how to create web sites. Doesn't even let you touch the html just in case you are thinking of messing it up - best feature imo.

What's Jadu? I think they introduced the portal in my final year, and 3 years later I've still not really used it. Had most of our own systems in computing, we've only just recently started migrating to ISS stuff (which sucks).

Jadu is content management system ISS bought and make people use it, but virtually all faculties said no. Computing tho are looking to tell all their students to access ISS stuff via portal next year. I real step away for them!

I program in machine code. It takes a bit longer, but at least it's almost all your own work.
