There's a Baptist church around the corner from me and they often put up a witty thought on their advertisement board.

After big Ron had been brought in late to rescue Nottingham Forest from relegation and failed they came up with:

best bit of graffiti i saw was in childwall in the 80s.

massive painted white letters on a wall "FREE NELSON MANDELA"

underneath in red spray "with every packet of cornflakes"

I rather liked this subtle effort which was written above the men's urinal in the Turf Tavern in Nottingham c1979, the time Of Maggie Thatcher and The Falklands War.
