Just last nights three handed mayhem... me, sid and dave c. Dave C was sitting with us covered by at least double at one point. Dave thought he could bully us both by putting his stack on the table. I called with Q6. He shows J8. I get Q6 on the flop (first card out was an 8 ).

Later on when I try to bully, I have As6s and raise Daves blind, he calls with AQ leaving me with a measley 500 chips... which I doubled and trebled up to 12,000 Cheesy Before pissing them away to Sid who eventually won.

So no Doyle Brunson book for me last night Sad My trophy is still feeling lonely Sad

No, thats not what happened and you went home early too so ne neer!

Dave said "How can you call with Q6!?"

I said "Because I knew I was ahead".

And then later, when I was down to my last 500 chip, I said "i'll buy into that single table STT, deal me in"

And then 5 hands later, after all my double ups I hear a fish shout from the STT "I'm all-in". And then Billy sat down next to me to watch me throw all my hard earned double up chips away. But I was one step closer to winning the STT without actually sitting there.

So you have a read on DC that tells you when your Q6 is good. I'm amazed you didn't finish higher than 3rd, you must have been outdrawn or something.

Q6o v Random Hand = 51.024% Equity.

Bit of a gamble, really.
