Bank Holiday Monday is meant to be the best day to go
WTF?? Last bank holiday I went, spent over 90 minutes queuing for each ride, managed to get on 3 rides between 10am and 4pm
The reason I got there so late was that it took from 8am -10am to get parked
Midweek just after summer hols FTW!!
Got to acho that. BH would be a horrible choice. I gambled last year on a Saturday that England were playing a Euro qualifier thinking that would lower numbers considerably, and it sure did. Only serious wait we had was for the log flume at the end where we waited about 30 minutes, but it was the only one we hadn't been on. Midweek is defo much better if you can get the time off yourself.

That's what I was told... I've never tried it myself!
Went on Monday and only serious queue was 1.5hours for one of the special halloween things, but it was pretty good - was glad when I got put in an oven as it was freezing!

Wonder if they have got something lined up where the Corkscrew was?

From reading about this a few months back (went to Alton Towers on Halloween - their busiest day of the year FML!) I think it's got a world's first in that it goes up a slope forwards then down backwards onto a different track.
