Lambert ruled out going back to scotland earlier in the month http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8670_6000237,00.html . Whether this proves to be true if Celtic come calling I am not so sure.

He is extremely ambitious and his managerial targets lie beyond managing Celtic, before we start with the how big of a club Celtic is. The reality is they play in a very uncompetitive 2nd/3rd tier European league and that was unappealing to Owen Coyle clearly.

He also despite the great start he has made to the job at Norwich still has bit to prove and there is deffo room for continued improvement to further his reputation at Norwich as well as being given time to do so. Another couple of years with us eventually competing at the top end of the Championship is more likely to help his CV than leaving another job after short period of time to take a bit of a poisioned chalice north of the border.

Of course Celtic are much bigger club than us, but there are quite a few reasons, if Lambert is shrewd to stay put imo. I don't expect him to be at Carrow Road in 5 years time, I am realist he is destined for bigger things.

Couldn't agree more

I love Paul Lambert, and really think he would ruin his blossoming career by coming here, the Celtic job is a Lose/Lose situation, as will the Rangers job be when Walter Smith leaves.

Id bite your hand off for him, but wouldn't blame him if he ran a mile when Lawwell picks up the phone, which will happen

Lambert just given in an interview to SSN, pretty standard Lambert interview where he gives out a lot of complements "he loves it at Norwich" and "I always look out for Celtic results" but actually tells you nothing and doesn't committ himself to anything.

Roy Keane?

I'd be happy if he was appointed the next Celtic boss, think that probably says it all about Keane.

Only decision that could be made really, I haven't heard one person say that TM deserved more time.

Felt sorry for the guy actually he just didn't have it too manage Celtic, the job looked too big for him from fairly early on and he looked ill towards the end, the best outcome for all concerned was a parting of the ways.

Lennon until the end of the season is a sensible move, let the dust settle and start again for next season. It won't actually take much to get back on top again, Rangers are functional and difficult to beat, they also possess a mentality that Celtic haven't had this season but they aren't world beaters.

Lets not go over the Strachan debate again, his defenders on here  didn't have to watch his team week in week out. He had 4 years in charge which he felt was long enough and it was his decision to leave.

Roy Keane about to get sacked if he loses!!!

FML Please NO!!!!!!!!!

Clueless manager!

If Lennon and Mjallby win the cup and win 90% of remaining game, but most importantly put some heart back in the team, ill be happy to give them the job.

Alan Thomson will be back as a coach too if they get the job.

The Team on Seville 2003 reunited!!!

Really buzzing about the future now, ill off to Celtic Park today to cheer Lenny!!!!
