was just checking with boshi that I was right about carrgher seeing as he's some inside informant

Eh?

I just said you'd got your facts wrong.  Of course Carragher was a bluenose when he was a kid, he hated Liverpool.  As Aaron said, he now is a Red through and through, and this came from the way he was treated by some Everton fans after a Liverpool match.

As for Gerrard, it's hardly inside information.  It's all out there in the public domain for you to read.

Sorry bud thought you'd intimated that you had some inside info on why Gerrard stayed at Liverpool

just thought i'd remind a few, when shearer signed for his beloved home town club, the mighty toon were the 2nd best team in the country and by far the best to watch. with the potential to be the best. 2nd in the prem 2 years running, so obviously no fluke 95/96 96/97.
another fact that seems to be missed, is that blackburn had agreed to selling shearer to manshitster united for £18,000,000. it was almost a signed deal, but shearer pleaded with the blackburn board to not let him go to, newcastle were asked if they could match the £18million and they came back with the most they could get together £15,000,000. a world record at the time. which blackburn were overjoyed at losing out on 3 mill'  Smiley
to compare shearer to glory hunter greedy c****  i.e. ronaldo and co......sorry what utter bollocks, shearer was a man of pride, he was brought up like most geordies to hate sunderland and man united (but doesn't everyone other than manshitster united fans hate man u, most manc's do) would he swap his newcastle career for medals? would he fk.....ofc he wanted to win things, but he wanted to win them for he team he loved........ not for a team of glory hunters.
shearer still holds the record for the highest ever goal scorer in the prem, and his biggest achievement is breaking jackie milburns record as newcastles highest EVER goal scorer, and for that he will be remembered for eternity where it matters.......his home town.

Do the people that suggest any big club doesn't want Gerrard not watch football,if Gerrard played for Sunderland I'd still admit he is abs class,LMAO at anyone stupid enough to suggest Man U/Chelsea/Madrid/Barca wouldn't want him he's much better than Man U's best midfielder and it ain't even close.
