This will be an occasional diary, as I'm pretty busy, as you'll see;

Got up;

Read Tikay's diary
Read Tighty's diary
Red Tom's diary
Read Cos' diary
Read and posted on Vinny's new diary
Read Ray's diary
Read Flushy's diary
Oh and a new diary from Booder - I don't know him but it looks a good read!

That's it - a full day I'm sure you'll agree  Wink

I know it's been mooted before, but is now a good time to re-open discussions on whether we should have a separate diary/blog board?  We've got a lot more regular diaries now than we had when it was decided to leave things as were before, with some on the rail and some in the lounge.  A separate board (like they have on the APAT forum) would make it easier for those of us that like to catch up on the diary threads to do so in one hit, and might encourage a few more people to get one going too.

I think it is probably best to keep them where they are. To the regs on here it will make little difference, we know where they are and many like me use "show unread/ new replies to your posts" buttons to navigate the site anyway.

The problem is moving them off the main boards, I think those boards are going to look bare and newbies are going to wonder where the hell everyone is. Leading to an even more cliquey atmosphere than before.

Ofc many know I am generally against the diaries due to many of our best posters, putting their best stuff in diaries that newbies probs can't be arsed to wade through. I realise I have probably lost this argument but I think moving them to their own board exasperates this.

I am FOR moving the diaries to their own board.  I am not a diary reader in general.  I think for people who wanna read diaries, it would be best to have them in a diary place and have the poker related stuff in a poker place.  Just my twopenneth..
