Just gauging the level of interest in the Fox Poker Main Event this weekend... £325 buy-in day ones Thurs/Fri - man up for it? Any feedback regarding structure / issues?

Doubt there will be more than 1 or 2 blondes there tbh.

A lot of blondes play the DTD £300. This is due to 2 main reasons. A large number of the posters being midlands / Nottingham based and secondly, DTD being a fantastic club that puts a big guarantee on their £300.

Do you guys have a guarantee?

Competing with the DTD 300 is a poor idea imo. If I play either it will be at DTD.

I, like many others, would be keen to play this but it clashes with the DTD deepstack which has big guarantee and is 15minutes walk away Cheesy I'd definitely play it, perhaps every month, were it moved to a different weekend each month.

Venues in London don't need to take account of what's happening at DTD for a £300 tourney - a £1000 maybe, but not a £300 one.

It's the £500 at Luton which will hurt Fox this weekend.

Fox got 170 or so for its deepstack last month, coinciding with DTD's deepstack

Different geographical markets, both at the same time means the odd London traveller to DTD won't go, but generally there is room for both the same weekend.

A big festival at the Vic, Empire etc is what Fox are competing against with their scheduling

+1

Unfortunately cant play this weekend, but being London based, would chose Luton over Fox,...but Fox over DTD every other month.

theres still a decent amount of londoners who come to dtd every month and a decent number of people who would make the trip south if it were on a different weekend. but yeh i suppose its only +/-25-50runners each time and the other london venues are of more concern.
