Mehhhh at checking the turn, giving villain far too much credit for being comptent. He has limped/called pre, how many hands that beat us compared to those we beat, loads more we beat and can get value from.

Better than letting a k roll of the river and villain giving up on most of his range. The deuce ball on the turn is like a dream card against a non thinking opponent.

in live poker on a paired board with several callers pre (early) you will lose more than you will win long term by going for 3 streets with AA imo

Fran also has a short starting stack in this particular comp and you need 4 high finishes to earn points so I'd say a bit of caution and checking back turn is definitely better than betting it.

Also, if live donko wants to raise a10 or jj etc when we bet the turn we may have to fold and checking here means we're not bluffable rly.

Check turn. Highly doubt we are getting 3 streets of value on a paired board. If he has got air it also gives him a chance to bluff it. If he has something reasonable then we call and win if he bets. Otherwise we value bet. If he bets and has it then we've at least kept the pot smaller. Op put villain on a range of hands. None of these included a 6 - why?
