Thanks Yogi, I know Red Dog would appreciate it. He's a good man. Can't play though - I got 10 from himlast night in a Last Longer, whahoo! Biggest buzz of the night, apart from actually stealing RAISE RAISE RAISE RiverDave Penly's BB with 7-5. LOVELY!

personally i void the hand of the guy who was shown and the guy showing em off. Showing your hand withouty acting upon a raise is usually an indication of a pass and as the game is played with high levels of indication needin to be read (that makes no sense does it?) it could be read as a pass.

But alot depends on the actual situation in play so its difficult to make a ruling away from the action so to speak.

But no matter what anyopne says the actual ruling made cant be seen as the wrong one.

Actually made good sense. 4 a change. HEHEHEHE

Eloquently put as always.

Knew you would have a better put point of view. Instead of one of my mindless inane rants.

I said better put not better by the way.

Yogi

After a complaint by BlueWolfy- I never said it was worse either. Happy now?Huh?Huh??

Blue Wolf i think that ruling would of been an awful one. What had i done wrong in the big blind  by being accidently shown the all in mans hand? Nothing. So why would you penalise me by voiding my hand as well? Sorry just can't see the sense in that. Perhaps you could explain the thinking behind that......

As it goes it would of made no difference as i was passing anyway but had i found a hand i would consider such a ruiling very harsh indeed.

Well this is too awful for words, & I never thought I'd say this, & it's tough to do it, but - I have to agree with riverdave here. How can he be penalised? - he did nothing wrong at all! (for a change).

"Did you see the murder Sir?".

"Err, yes".

"OK, you are charged with murder".

But Wolfy did add that unless he was there, it's hard to make a judgement. And we did ask our Blackpool friends Yogi & Wolfy, known as amongst the fairest in the UK, to help us with a view on this ticklish subject.

There is one other factor that I think may have affected Bluewolf's decision had he been there

Most cardroom disputes are shouting matches, not so in this case. As i've already said, the guy who exposed his hand did so accidentally, and riverdave could not help but see. He was a perfect gentleman about it and to his credit, he made it clear that he was going to pass. The guy in seat 8 did not want to see the hand.

Yes, it was a tough one, and if I had to do it again, I wouldnt call for a ruling at all, but I think the exposed hand should have been void, yes, I know it was an accident, and he was probably inexperienced, (he would have to be to call my all in with KJo and two men still to act behind him) But he was the one that made the mistake. It would have been a hard lesson, but those are the ones you learn best. As it was, he won the pot and was the only one to benifit.
