By the way, did it all work OK?

No. Sigh.....  It won't sync, but I still have all my data online.

I suspect it wants me to set up two word verification and "Item specific verification" If that is the case I don't know why, it worked ok before.

Also, if I try to set up a new account it says "This may take 5 minutes" and then "communicating with google servers to set up your account" Then "You have no network connection"

Have you set up two-step verification for your account then?



No, but why should it suddenly want it?

Not sure if you haven't set it up. It is a very good idea to have it though, otherwise your gmail account can be compromised a lot easier (as mine was).

Kinboshette's PM must be rusty of you PMd him but the electrons didn't arrive until after he logged off. Perhaps the whole of the blonde membership ought to text him with a simple "test" message to unstick it. About 500 messages may do the trick.
