If I get a day return ticket can I use it after midnight? Got train into manchester at 6. Was supposed to get the 23:38 back but missed it. Next train was at 1am. I assume my return is valid for this train despite technically being the next day? As it happens no-one was on the train to check and ticket barrier at Leeds was open so didn't matter anyway. But still was wondering Smiley

I think you can yes - it's in the terms and conditions somewhere, but I think the cut off is something like half one (but I can't remember for sure so it's probably just as likely to be half twelve.)

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy'. They told me i didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life.
