31 bigs is a very awkward stack size. I was also assuming we are huge this deep in tourney as it's unusual to have so many.

why didnt you just post asking what range we should call with when we open and get snap jammed on by a 30bb stack? i'm calling with 88 and AA and folding the rest.

Villain has to be a known nit to r/f this. Id be pretty happy r/c'ing or open shoving it.

We are 7/15 so there's either 7 or 8 players at the table. If we 2.6x and BB jams for 31x then if we call there will be around 63bbs in the pot and it costs us 28.4bbs to call so we need 28.4/63 = 45% to call ignoring ICM (and ignoring ICM is an ICM disaster here).
Putting villain on a range is the hardest part obv, I wouldn't expect most villains to jam here very often so would expect something like 22-77, occasionally some high card hands and sometimes some bigger pairs.
