I was quite a fan of Phil Bennet, does that count

I liked Mr Bennet off Take Hart

I'm so pleased you wrote that. I read trigg's post this morning and immediately thought it was the bloke that hung around with morph. then I realised that was tony hart and coouldn't figure out my thought process but you've filled in the gap

you're welcome!

fwiw, i'll go on my own to the NY show and see my mate, unless anyone fancies the vegas show.

i like him - that recent duets album he did was pretty good with a few really good performances on it, Diana Krall and George Michael spring to mind. I think it would be good to see him, just to say that you had seen him, although his voice is way past its prime imo.

do I win the prize ?

I was brought up on Tony Bennett along with other crooners from that era. It's the sort of music I listen to on my ipod when playing poker! Unfortunately I have no spare money to be flitting around the world or I would say yes in a flash, anything for a new adventure! I'm saving my airmiles for a Vegas trip.

However I have been watching Celebrity Scissorhands and I think I know how to cut hair now so I could be of use to you....once it grows back   Cheesy

I would love to join you but cant get any time until March, which rules me out.

Enjoy.
