Playing 4 handed on a feeder table. All decide on a round of each. Wiiiiiiiiiiiiii.

I'm dealt   UTG, I raise to £7.

Button calls, blinds fold.

Flop (£17)

Hero bets £13. Villain calls.

Turn (£33)

Hero checks. Villain checks.

River (£33)

Hero ?

Just bet the turn, too hard to play otherwise.

Bet now, although knowing eXACTLY what the river card is would be helpful, assuming its a board pair, BET. he'll likely chk back a lot of flushes and almost certainly won'ty call a c/r so betting is the only play imo

Sorry guys, posted on me phone, corrected now.

Fairly simple spot, just interested in seeing which river line others would take and why.

Fwiw villain is a bad reg. Doesn't read hands too well so is pretty bad at value betting.

bet turn. as played, bet river he isn't going to valuebet a flush or call a chk raise.

Also hopefully he will fold, and then you wont have to explain why there are 2 's in the deck.

Yes, I'm bad. :p Fixed it now.

I really didn't want to bet the turn as I'd be in a FML spot if he raised.

Thinking now, would the turn be a b/c or a b/f?

I felt he would bet a flush otr which is why I c/r'd. Drat.

Yeah OP is correct, so you'd b/c the turn?

Obv I've c/r'd trying to get maximum value from his flushes. *lightbulb moment* But if villain is never calling his flushes, it makes no sense me letting him dictate the price. D'oh. Cheers Dave

You should b/f turn depending on how deep you are. Bet 25 otr.

So you'd b/f the turn. Makes sense, I'm only getting raised by this guy with JKxx/AAxx, he defo only calls with QQ, might even fold it.

Annoyed I played it the way I did now. cheers guys.

yh sorry bet to fold if he raises the turn. No-1 raises the turn without it, speshly live. if you're under 1.5 PSB eff then we're getting into pot/call/get there territory
