I would play this hand exactly the same. Once he fires Allin on the river that should set the alarm bells ringing because if he thinks you have a J he might think you will call off with tptk.Definate putting him on KK, AA by the river bet...... I do think this line you have taken is the minimal amount you would lose in this hand. unless you fold pre ob lol.....

Not being funny but how many people do you see on stars who will get it in with say qj here on the flop, he might of been hoping you was one of them and call of the river with any Jack Cheesy!!!

The only difference between praying in a Church and praying at the poker table is that when you pray at the poker table you really mean it.

WTF?

What are your reads on villain to take this line? Any stats?

If you have no reads then 4b2150/c pre imo.

Villain needs to be super aggro to flat here. If this is our read, then we're of course calling every barrel.

No stats, been at the table like 3 orbits, he's been playing pretty tight if I recall.

You say 4b/c, do we really think they're getting 87bb in with jj/tt/ak? obvs ak way more likely, but i think it's not gonna be long term profitable to 4b/c qq against a relatively tight player.  Ofc I'm a tourney donk so you probs know more than I do! given that all the rebuys are done, reli can't see us being in great shape against what is probably a relatively tight 5b jam range.

Depends how villain perceive's you. If you've been pretty active then he's going to 3b your utg+1 range with a wider range than std ip. Ie TT+/AJs/AQo instead of QQ+/AK.

Meh. Having just opr'd villain and given reads, I guess I don't mind the line so much. wp

Hand seems wp, I would sometimes 4bet and try to get in QQ here but readless against a random when you're this deep flatting is better

I don't think we've met but I occasionally play at DTD when it's worth going for some tournaments so it's possible we've played there but I can't remember. My real name is Edd Ash

Not this at all, unless we have reads we shouldnt be 4b/calling here.

Getting in this many bbs this early given positions is burning money over time with QQ (at best it's approaching breakeven, so still not good assuming we have a decent edge in $5 MTTs.

I like the line FWIW. wp
