Playing AA..

Playing the DTD satellites last night as I funked for Blondes in the Deepstack (Big WD for G2L) and had these three hands in a fairly short period. On each occasion villain seems to have played AA in a non-standard way.

Cliffs -
Hand 1 - I limp A3 off ( I know I know) and flop two pair, he checks the flop, calls the turn and overjams the river
Hand 2 - same villain I raise KQ (4-handed in 150 feeder, one seat on offer) he flats my raise, calls flop and calls my turn shove
Hand 3 - HH hasn't saved on HEM for some reason but BvB i have KK and limp with the plan to CRAI or call a shove. Flop is blank, I check he checks behind, turn another blank i check he checks behind, river a third blank, I bet he raises I shove he calls.

I may owe £1.50 but it seemed to me that on all three hands Villain takes a line that feels unusual.

Not standard by him, but its fine. Flatting in both spots isn't fantastic but ok in circumstances, 2nd one slightly better in my opinion. Just desperate to get max value, which is fair, unless you have regular opponents that will learn you only limp the button with AA etc, in which case people can make really good reads vs you.

I'd be extremely cautious of any strange plays this player seems to make.

edit: Due to the nature of sattys prize structure, i might only be flatting when he raises the river, shove might be thin. Depends on exact board tho, 226TQ is fine to reshove, 679JJ would be awful obv

I'm still not sure if I'm being whooshed, but I will take that as a compliment until someone corrects me.

I think these are spots where you have medium strength value hands and by the river you will be beat a lot, even when it seems unlikely.

Remember these players call bad but some of them never raise bad and often tptk or AA (overpairs) just aren't going to get you some bread and butter.  Vs certain opponents on dtd software Im stacking off with AA on almost any texture because these people I trust to make bad plays/ raises etc.. but in this case vs this Opp i think its a case of
- trick me once, well done
- tricked me twice, you're a tricky one...
- tricked me thrice, I should be folding more often.

hand 1 bet waaaaaaaay less on the river (i'd go like 525-600) and as played it's a clear fold now. Straight draws have at least sd value now and it makes no sense for him to bluff clubs on the river if he hasnt bet the flop.

hand 2 is fine, agree with rupert about opening smaller with your stack

yeah, the second hand was about an orbit after the first and was same villain - it was noted. Hard to give him credit for AA twice in that period though.
Third hand was a different villain and maybe less tricky given that it was BvB and in essence I started it by just completing with KK.

Found new ways to not win a GP Satellite yesterday, like AQ<KK despite the A on the river, and then reloading and getting KK next hand and losing to same villain's AQ.

In essence...
Hand 1, it's not that interesting in truth - he shoves ANY set on the river and ANY set beats me. It only stuck in the craw because it was aces
Hand 2 - raise a little less from the smaller stack
