"It's common knowledge that many who work in finance also find excitement in the high risks and money of poker. Andy Frankenberger is no exception, but he's a step above the rest.

The former BNP Paribas derivatives turned professional poker player won the World Series of Poker's $10,000 limit hold'em game on Monday, beating Phil Ivey, who many believe the to be the best player in the world, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Frankenberger has only been playing poker for less than 3 years, but is already making a big splash in the industry and considered by many to be one of the big stars nowadays. He's already won 3 big poker tournaments and made $2.5 million from his career, the WSJ reported.

What his secret to success? Frankenberger is known for being his very eccentric plays and strategy, which he says comes from his career as a trader— "It's all about risk management running better than anyone else," he said. "If the market goes against you and you're wrong, you get out. A lot of poker players don't know how to do that because it looks weak. I can fold a hand QQ getting 6/1 preflop BTN Vs BB and that makes me look weak. I don't care about my image. I care about winning."

All of which said....good luck to the man. I am just jealous to be honest.
