Computer browser issues

I had a problem with my lappy and took a while to get it repaired, anyway, it's all fixed now but just about every site I try and visit comes up with untrusted connection etc and I have to choose to continue.   This is mainly on Firefox but IE is just as bad telling me that certificates are no longer valid and it wont let me look at the sites.   Things like Betfair, Hotmail, nothing special.

Any ideas what I can do about it?

Checked the date on your laptop ?

yeah, date and time are wrong.  Where is it that you can set the computer to automatically correct itself?

Worked that out, got it sync'd to window.time (something like that).  Hotmail is working ok but can't get on to Betfair, hoping it's down atm!
