Can't whoever steals an iPod/iPad just go in and turn it off?

When you buy an app, can you stay in the store and stop iTunes from exiting?

Thought it would be a good idea to have a thread about decent aps out there that others may like but not know about.

I added teh updated Red Laser today and is incredibly good.  Basically you can scan any barcode and it virtually instantly gives you the prices of the item in all stores around your current location and is quite worrying just how different they can be.  Currently £1.19 but worth it.

So what other apps areout there worth having?

Betfair app
Alarm clock
