EDIT, meh, guess it's not that tricky with stacks, just didn't want him folding his spade.

Bet flop you miss a ton of value, any pair with a spade calls you and a A spades prob even jams on you

Back to basics.

The simplest way to extract value in poker is to bet when you very likely have the best hand.

I know its entirely std to bet this flop, but would we have got the lot in? Longterm? I'm I don't think we would. Just my opinion obviously, not in any way trying to state a fact. By checking with so much equity, we allow him the gift of trying to make us fold on the bubble. There are way more non spade or worse spade combos in his range than combo's that beat us, so there's only one way to get maximum value out of him. Allowing him to bet.

I would raise more pre to 6500. Did you have a read he would barrel on the bubble? If not I would be betting the flop. His play is very spewy once you call his turn bet.
