ESPN 30 for 30 Films

These sports films have been on the go for over a year now with some really outstanding insights into mainly US sports. I've just watched You Don't Know Bo which is about Bo Jackson who played both MLB for the Kansas City Royals and NFL (as a hobby!) for the LA Raiders.
Try and catch this if you can on ESPN or online it shows a truly phenomenal athlete who does some genuinely WTF things. I've seen most of these and just about everyone of them is worth a watch if you have even a passing interest in US sports.

Enjoyed every one of these I've seen.
Possible highlights were the Jordan playing baseball one and the episode about the Croatian and Serbian basketball players.

A whole lot of this.
Think I am close to have seen them all, been put off seeing the two escobars because someone said it wasn't very good.
I enjoyed the basketball one where spike lee gets blamed for riling an opposing team player into playing better, which was heavily amusing.

Have watched most of these, found the one on Ricky Williams very interesting, very different from your usual NFL players, keep missing the one about the "U" in the late 80's, early 90's - amazing number of players that went on to NFL stardom as well as a wrestling superstar and one of my favourite Redskins, Sean Taylor

The U one is very interesting and another one about SMU( southern Methodist uni) is good, all about how they were caught repeatedly bribing students to enter the football program and the whole program was suspended for a year in the 80's.
I have enjoyed all the 30 for 30's I have watched with one exception which is about some guy from Kansas buying the original rules to basketball, which was terrible.

I liked the Kansas basketball one, I didn't think I would but I found myself routing for him such was his obsession. Agreed on the other 2 you mentioned, the NCAA rules and how they are applied really are bizarre.

Noooooo - this is one of the best ones. incredible story. I wasn't a big fan of the one about Tupac and the Tyson fight but other than that I love them. The one about Steve Bartman called Catching Fire is very good. Not sure if you all are aware in UK but they are making and screening more at the moment of which Catching Fire is one. All up to the usual quality.

yeah I watched the it yesterday and thought it was very good. I remember so well a lot of the players like Rene Higuita, Carlos Valderrama and Tino Asprilla but had not heard of Andres Escubar until his own goal and subsequent shooting.

The Reggie Miller vs the New Yorks Knicks doc is on ESPN at 1.45pm, a bit short notice but it will probably be repeated later in the day.
