So this is NOT a standard 50/1 gala table. Both villains have considerable herbiemobs and I'm OOP to both. I'm deffo considered value. Prob 3/6 or 4/6 skill level wise. V1 and me have huge history, many tables of play and lots of talking about hands. V2 not so much history but still considerable, knows how I play and think exploits that v well. Both V's know I respect them and won't expect OOL lines. V2 has been 3-betting V1 relentlessly but no cold4's yet although I'm not sure he's had too many opportunities.

Also I've been doing a lot of folding when 3bet in about 5 orbits.

We open over a limp to £6.

V1 3-bets £19. Covers us.

V2 Cold 4 £55. Covers both.

We're playing ~£260.

Your 5b/jamming range?

these "what is your range questions are so hard to answer"

Firstly we've not talking about a spot where there is any history whatsoever so we can have a totally exploitative range (i.e jam wide if we think they are folding lots, bluff never if we think they are calling lots) how has V1 been playing, how has V2 been playing against V1, whats your image?

Literally impossible to answer helpfully so i'm going to go with QQ/KK/AA and AKs with 0% bluffing frequency that would be MY 5b range here with the only info being that the two guys are good players.

Stick it in their eye with JTs Wink

Pretty much what Dave said, your pretty much getting it in with AK/AA/KK/QQ. I doubt you ever have a 5b jam with worse in you?

jamming TT here could easily be terrible.

A general rule of thumb I always went with, if they are felting AK in a spot then we should go broke with TT

Since if we consider their range will be KK+ and AK, TT is doing pretty much the same as QQ. And I sure as hell aint folding QQ Cheesy

I was the cold 4better here, and like I said at the time, though I was playing v aggro in this game, in this particular spot I was pretty unlikely to be light gameflow wise.

This isn't something you should necessarily have known or picked up (though if you can start to see the good spots/ bad spots then you could rip me apart lol), but if you know I'm not folding vs Belton, obviously you can work out I've got a pretty fkn good hand here. Probably AQs and TT+.

I was pretty sure you'd fold JJ but not 100% and assumed you'd fold TT and go with QQ and AK 100% of the time, so would call accordingly, but was calling vs Belton everytime so you can work out that I'm calling you probably 65% of the time (folding AQs,TT/JJ, calling AK, QQ-AA).

Btw when you clicked it back or raised to half your stack this was kinda pointless, unless you were trying to level me into folding AK because you looked so strong (which I wouldn't fall for btw Tongue) so just jam imo.

yh, I just mean with ZERO info a "whats our 5bet range" question is impossible to answer. Folding TT could be horrif, getting JJ in could be terrible, way better just posting a few potential hands and we can analyse the situations/dynamics that would be needed to do what with each one.

These "whats your range" threads are lazy and pretty unhelpful unless we're talking readless 10-20bb spots in tourneys.

No offence intended ofc, just saying Cheesy

Cheesy np's dave just thought I'd have a change of pace from a massive essay about a hand I butchered. Can understand you're point.

Cheers btw too al. Just felt like I was in an absolutely horrid spot pre and at the table in general tbh
