Obviously don't know your model etc.. but is there a a Select Boot Device option on first boot? Might have to press F12 or ESC to get this (this is different from the BIOS). dependent on the type of machine you should get options like

PXE/LAN
DVD/CD ROM DRIVE
HDD/Hard Drive
SSD

Try selecting the hard drive(HDD) and see if it boots. Definitely echoing what EvilPie had said boot order seems wrong as if you disconnect and it still works something is taking the SSD as boot priority 1.

Then if you can get it up and running defo use this guide to migrate your OS: http://lifehacker.com/5837543/how-to-migrate-to-a-solid+state-drive-without-reinstalling-windows

Anyone hot any ideas on how to fix my old one?

Keep getting "error loading operating system"

Computer is sorted, thanks.

I tried doing what Suited Jock said, so I reconnected the new ssd and whilst I was trying to find the option to boot it, I missed it and the computer just loaded up, lol computers.

Think it was because I put the SATA cable in a different port.

Next bit...

What antivirus software do people use these days ?

I won't actually be going on the internet ever but need one still I assume since using Stars, TN etc ?

Microsoft security essentials will do the job.

You will be going on the internet if you're using stars. You might not be using the web though, which I guess is what you mean Wink

I wouldn't vouch for it, but I also use Microsoft Security Essentials.
