Curbs is on over £1m a year with Sky and their various channels around the globe. I think he held out for a top job too long, his stock has diminished.

not bad doubt he was on that at charlton was he?

in todays market he would be on about 1million -3million dependent on club?

a lot less stressful i think

I can find out tomorrow but I think close to 500k when he left Charlton...but yeah he loves working for sky, its piss doing the foreign  sky channels. I don't think anyone apart from himself knows what he really wants, he was very very guarded on the info he shared on players and teams and his own future to even his close circle.

this tweet was interesting (to me anyway)

Last 5 seasons transfer spend: Stoke: £80m spent; Arsenal: £37m profit; Newcastle: £25m profit; Everton: £12.5m profit; Spurs: £7.5m spent.

and then

Stoke may play lower league football but they're not a lower league club. Just Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea have bigger net spend.

You need to add in wages though as well surely.  I'm sure Stoke's won't be small, but I imagine Spurs would have spent more net on transfer and wages (for example)

yes agreed but that information is not easy to find

i am not so sure Stoke have that small a wage bill though players like Palacios who has barely played for them is on reported 55k a week

that's fine though, it's pretty well accepted that having the largest wage bill will make some contribution to league position, but net spend on transfers makes almost no difference.
