Hi all,

Quick question about playing when hungover/tired? Sat'd into the £100 deepie during the week, but have avoided all 3 day 1s so far due to working 12 hour days and then having a few scoops when I get home. So, going to play tomorrow, but am utterly wrecked, on about 20 hours kip for this last 7 days.

Any advice on maintaining focus/discipline when shattered?

Play ABC? Get drunk? Imbibe coffee and polos? All tips considered AND gratefully received

Guess a lot of folk here have minimal sleep, but can function optimally?!

Cheers - Dan

P.S wake me up if you see me passed out on a roullete machine seat - kthxbye

If I am running low on snow I just drive with the windows down and slap myself in the face.

Yes Dave. Often drive with windows down, arms out to make them cold then rub over my face.

I would say not eating. Works for me. I am always ill or tired and eating makes me worse. Candy crush or a game on your iphone, keep your brain active while playing the earlier levels. I also find leaving min way through the levels to have 5 mins outside helps, insted of literally sitting there till the breaks. Make banter aswell, random prop bets and such. Keeps u focused on othet areas when your not in a hand or you need to watch a hand play out. Drink coke not red bull.. The crash on that when tired is ridic. Good luck mate. Play ABC and let everyone else make mistakes.

I always wondered what it was like for the undead!

I just tend to go heavy on the coffee.

Getting drunk is a bad idea (for trying to stay awake, great idea any other time). You will just get drunk faster than normal and be more open to the idea of closing your eyes. Power naps on the breaks ftw
