Don't be silly. Fold. These HH's you post here you really seem to overcomplicate man, MTTs aren't really that intricate. Even if its slightly more profitable in the longrun to rejam here, its also gonna be much higher varience. Sometimes stack preservation > taking every +EV spot, particularly in turbos where everyone wants to rofl it in. Seems super super punty if u put this in.

 to be the best you gotta think like the best, every spot, doing thngs 1 level better than everybody else, i dont wanna just play std like most mtt guys, i wanna try push every spot possible. thats why people ike rounder, pessagno etc absolutely crush but everybody thinks they are terrible

I fold too.  Bit like that KTs hand I mentioned, it seems a lot of big blinds to get in with 88.  I am obviously old school and have resorted to playing old man games.

But this is a bit like one I played at the Sunday million where I was villian with AK and was in a horrid ICM spot when another big stack shoved in front of me.  Without doing the maths, that makes me think this is possibly correct.  The thing that makes me think it is borderline is that you can't make Tilt_Avenue fold which changes things a bit (mine went villian 1 open, big stack villian 2 mighty shove).

I've inputted payouts into icmizer, OPR'd Tilt_Avenue, seems to be having a good year but nothing of note before then so his range below seems a rough fair assumption.

CO : Opens atc

SB jams : 55+,AT+,KJs+,QJs (this is what he should be jamming if CO is opening 33% and calling 10%, he should obv be completely different to this when CO is ATC but, one SB won't perceive CO's opening range is this wide, and two, it isn't I'm just being extreme to make a point)

If we make CO opening atc and calling only QQ+ with SB jamming the above then this is the only way to make 88 marginally ok, it would make us $29 or 0.05%.

If we give SB a wider range of : 22+,A7s+,A8o+,KT+,QJ and CO is atc and only calling QQ+ then ur a confirmed sicko as it would be good and you could rip the following : 55+,A9s+,ATo+,KQs, and even if CO knew your range was this ICM wise he's actually supposed to fold QQ, silly I know. Sadly though CO is never atc, and sb isn't jamming that wide.

Now none hypothetically

CO : Opens 35%

SB jams : 55+,AT+,KJs+,QJs

Your range should be the following if we can get CO to:

CO only calls AA = 88+,AQ+

CO is KK+ = 99+,AQ+

CO is QQ+ = TT+,AQs+,AKo

CO is JJ+ = TT+,AQs+,AKo

CO is JJ+,AKs = JJ+,AK

CO is JJ+,AK+ = JJ+,AK

Also note tightening CO opening range doesn't make a huge difference, not going to do it all again but say he's only opening 23% and calling QQ+ then you can jam JJ+,AK instead.

Don't really get how that helps here anyway. He's only in for 80k and he's only calling if he smashes you so who cares if you might get him to fold JJ?

Even if you shove and end up with 80k of his dead money in the pot you still might lose and end up 440k down.

If he'd flatted the 440k  and then you had the option to re-shove it would be far more interesting and the ICM pressure would be far more worth looking at.

Whenever I get to a final and I check these sort of hands with ICMIZER I am sometimes so far off and it's usually scenarios like this.
