NECS 2005 will be held on the August bank holiday weekend.

Saturday 27th August will be the No Limit event starting at 12 Noon

Sunday 28th August will be the Pot Limit event starting at 12 Noon

The event will be held at :-

Gosforth Civic Hall
Regent Farm Road
Gosforth
Newcastle upon Tyne

25 registration with 10 rebuys.

We will also be having our usual raffle and auction prizes.

The Launch party of Game For Life will be held at Jamies Bar, 64/66 West Smithfields, London

23rd July 2005 7.30pm

We will be having a live band and an excellent buffet, also this event will be televised by Poker425.

We also have a late license til 1am.

The event will be a Black Tie/Formal Suit

All proceeds from this event will go to the registered charity Game For Life 1108681.

Anyone who hasnt won tickets and would like to come please PM me for details, the tickets are 25 each

Entry by ticket only.

what the heck is a black tie/formal suit when its at home

formal wear i usually wear my tartan trews (aint got the legs for kilt anymore)
but they are a 32in waist and i am struggling to get into 36in trews atm

black tie sound like dinner jacket and bow tie

the affair is essentially black tie, however if someone really wants to attend but the black tie will prevent them then suit and tie is acceptable. Rumour has it (well started by me actually) that a certain Jonathan Raab will be wearing a kilt.

i have never worn a suit and tie in my life

worn a tie but never a suit as i have never owned one

I would say in all seriousness that the launch party is IMHO 'A Truely Historic Event' and if you aint got your tickets sorted do so as soon as possible.
