The best reaction to one we had was at a dinner, Victoria was pretty new to the group at the time and was the brain. We did "how many girls does Victoria think Pete Linton has slept with", Pete was betting with Ben Jones and was extremely confident in himself and was sure Victoria would assume he'd slept with many many women.

I think he quickly opened the bidding at "over Ten", Ben snapped his neck off.

"Eight" Victoria said.

Pete went ballistic.

"I've slept with 8 this year alone!" etc etc

What do you think the actual figure was?

Judging by his reaction, yeh 8 seems about right!

He was making out like it was well over 50, maybe 100. I think the louder people exclaim, and the higher the number they claim, the lower it really is.

Yup. Those that get it usually get it quietly as far as I know.

Also 'over 50, maybe 100'........?? Over 50, maybe 60 I could accept. Over 90 maybe 100 I could also accept.

Giving yourself such a huge margin of error doesn't instill confidence in the numbers.

Think Victoria pretty much nailed it.

The best questions are

a) like in Alex's post, where the answer is pertaining to one of the people doing the bidding

b) on multiple levels, eg. what does A think B think etc. Tom Dwan on Poker After Dark was asked to think what Phil Hellmuth thinks of Phil Laak /100. Combine this with the previous suggestion for some hilarious nonsense

c) pick completely ridiculous things on which to bid on. Something like "how many people worldwide do you think are at sea right now?" Like an answer that nobody could possibly give, it's basically just three people betting in the dark.

d) the ones that get me involved because I am SO FUCKING BORED AT WORK
