..... for me anyway !!

I am heading for the French EPT event this week and it will be a step into the darkness for me - I have only played live once at the gutshot club so its a big step up and frankly am very nervous at the prospect !!

I have been drawn in the second flight which starts on Thursday but am travelling on Tuesday partly because Pokerstars are paying for the hotel and partly becuase I think I need to get used to the place as I will be a fish out of water !!!  From previous posts I know that there are some other Blondites heading accross the water........ so 2 thoughts occured to me

1) It would be good to meet you folk - what are your plans etc ...
2) If you need any help in live postings for the first day I would be more than happy to oblige.   Just let me know ...

Also with all the wealth of knowledge on Blonde, does anyone have any tips for how to approach an event like this ??  Thoughts appreciated ............

Cheers

I'm not going and don't really have any advice because I've never played any big tourneys, I'll leave that bit up to the professionals...but I will wish you

GOOD LUCK!!

Have a great time Wink

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Just play your cards when they come to you and don't be afraid of anyone.

The worst thing that can happen is you get knocked out of the tournament. Not a problem, Deaville is a lovely place and you'll have more free time to enjoy it.

All you can do is play your cards. Have a good time  thumbs up
