we have just burst the bubble there is around 30 players left with 36 getting paid
everyone was playing tight around the bubble scared of missing out on the $4
this allowed me to add about 10k to my stack without a showdown
average stack is circ 30k
but now everyone has opened up

my 3bet was sized to encourage a shove but as per normal i didnt get what i wanted
on the flop i am OOP but decide to c-bet should i just put the pot in here to try and take it
or is the 9900 into 18k ok?
once shoved on is 18k to win 56k + or fold to have a 23k stack?
is there enough hands i am ahead of for me to make the call?

Think you're priced in.  I would imagine that you are a long way from decent money as well so just go with it imo.

there is no decent money in these comps a win will only just pay for a decent night out, but i get your point

I think this is your issue. 

You do something odd that is rarely going to induce anyone to lose their head.  Even in a $2 game, are people going to think this bet is weak and won't assume your range is mostly monsters.

Just check the $10k PLO updates at the WSOP.  Nobody seems to be betting small to induce, and most are set there going "pot", "pot".  The game is unlikely to be more complicated at your level.

I know you are playing PLO8 and not PLO, but think the logic holds.  You pot this pre flop, nobody is folding A2xy, and most will struggle to fold any ace.

i used to pot all the time but the likes of flushy got me out of that habit telling me to bet smaller

I think your aim is flawed as you just aren't going to get many potting over a small reraise.  I think calling is going to work much more often.  You also have a hand that is so strong that you can take a flop multiway. 

Despite that I think you are probably overthinking a $2 tournament.  You don't really need to balance ranges and heavily disguise your hand.  You pot it, people will call.

I think you need a very strong read or excellent reason to 3b for less than pot in plo8 and I dont think you can find one vs these opponents. Equities run ridiculously close. Gii now, reasonably happy.

IN NLO8 with RA is this different?
i have noticed about 1/2 the field in these only bet pot, from an opening bet , or on the flop

i rarely if ever bet the pot unless i have just about a pot size bet left

will look at 3 betting pre with a pot from now though thanks for advice
