Greeky is fine (see his Diary), but I don't know of any other blondes out there at the mo.
Sounds a dreadful do, 16 killed the last I heard.
Who would so such a thing?

Thankfully Cos is fine. Awful for the families concerned caught up in someone's misguided beliefs.
Joo was a little shaken as this tragedy happened 3 kilometres away from the hotel we are going to stay in this December.
RIP all the poor souls lost.

Innocent civilians, going about their daily routine, blown to smithereens.
The Troubles in Ireland were beyond terrible, but when civilians were involved, at least there was a protocol of advance warning.
It's just so awful.

Getting news now of another bomb in BKK.
Fortunately this one seems to have missed its intended targets and exploded in water just off a footbridge.
Scary times for sure.
It's not clear who is doing it and why yet which is even scarier as this is a new thing for Thailand. I hope they get absolutely tortured if they do get caught.

Yes, a 2nd bomb, maybe a third too according to this.

I hate how in this latest world war we're all living through any extremist crackpot can have maximum impact.
It doesn't matter if they kill one or a thousand people or no one at all, every new attack just confirms the fact that these atrocities can happen at anytime anywhere home or away.
I know that means all the more reason to carry on about your business but I can't help but feel like they are slowly 'winning' by taking away our peace of mind.
Has hummuspie from the Money exhange-Thailand thread been on here at all?
I think he was in Phuket rather than the area targeted but it must have put a downer on his trip :-(
