Villa have 1 point from 24. Didn't replace Vlaar and Benteke til very late and are in the bottom 3

this would be a good apppointment for Moyes and Villa wouldn't it?

In a way, Sherwood has been a bit unlucky, losing the spine of his team in the Summer, but he's not shown much by way of original thinking or exceptional man management from what I can see.

Brutal game.

Mark Cooper had Swindon playing some great stuff last season, but lost Luongo, Gladwin and Williams in the summer. Then had a few injuries and suspensions and got the boot yesterday. Crazy.

Dangerous move for Moyes imo.  Villa really are poor this year and if he doesn't keep them up that will be perceived as 3 duds in a row for Moyes given his underwhelming impact in Spain.  The Everton reputation only lasts so long (see Peter Reid at Sunderland)
