A question for cash players.  What's your longest winning streak?  In days, hours, sessions or whatever.

I just completed my 23rd winning session in a row *brag brag brag* biggest $656, smallest $3 LOL!  I'm feeling rather chuffed.

My partner was away for a few weeks, i manage to win my first live comp, and after that i couldnt go wrong, i won another, 2 days later, had a huge win at the casino, made plenty more finals, before he was home. I wish he would go alway more often!!!
It was like a small dose of winning the lotto for 3 weeks.

i remember reading a piece by Mike Caro in Super Systems II saying that you should never try and keep a winning session streak record going. He said that he had a friend who claimed to have gone 50 something sessions in profit but as it turned out it was a manufactured streak as once the player found himself in profit he ended the session there by ensuring that the streak continued - even if it meant him leaving a "good" game (ie the chances were he would have made more of a profit if he had continued to play).

I agree with that.  I don't remember any instances of stopping just because I was ahead.  I don't get much time to play, but I play for as long as possible or until the fish have gone away.  I'll be stunned if I reach 30, nevermind 50!
