if tony has something he needs to spam on another site

he will speak to the owner of the site and get permission to spamm

but if you guys keeps printing blondepoker.com on there forums

they will get pissed off and we will end up getting a spamming war

Yikes, this is an awkward one.

I dont know who Ironside is referring to, don't wanna know either, or what site they spammed blonde on.

I imagine it was well intended, so thank you, whoever it was.

blonde's policy on covert spamming on other sites is.....

We don't like it when folks do it to us, so we dont do it to others. Do as thy will be done.

When, on the odd occasion, I want to put something up on, say, The Hendon Mob, I always ask Joe's permission first. Joe has been wonderfully helpful to blonde, so I feel we ought to respond in kind. Derek Kelly and Barry Martin at Gutshot likewise. I am overcome with gratitude as to how helpful & friendly The Hendon Mob & Gutshot have been to blonde. The Hendon Mob & Gutshot have never once used blonde to spam. One or two others have, but so far, we have turned the other cheek. Moderation in all things, & common sense.

blonde are doing OK, tyvm. The Forum is not 6 months old yet, & traffic grows daily. And it's the right sort of traffic, from the right sorta peeps. We wanna keep it that way, & go to a lot of trouble to ensure we do. If others start using blonde as the battleground for a spam war, our lovely little Forum will be ruined.

These thoughts exactly coincide with Dave Colclough's wishes.

So there you have it. No big deal, but best to let you all know our position.

Maybe Ironside could clarify a little.

I saw a thread on HMF where someone was asking about local tournies,
and someone replied that the schedule was available here at blonde.

Is that spamming, or just being helpful ?

I see it as the latter, especially if the person suggesting blonde has no vested interest.

Interesting to see what others think.

That's probably someone just being helpful, and I am certainly not suggesting otherwise. It just seemed to me a good opportunity to make our position known.
