Omaha V Texas

Heads up, who has a bigger advantage - a good Texas hold em player over a poor player, or a good Omaha hold em player over a poor player?

I dont play Omaha but the people i know who play it say there is less of a luck factor involved and that if you can work out your outs and odds quickly, then you can rip the game up.

Any thoughts?

omaha without a doubt has a much bigger skill range than hold em players,

even better, a competent omaha hi/lo player will tear apart a novice player heads up nearly every time.

As much as we hate to admit it, Hold em does not take a great lot of skill and has a BIG luck factor edge to it

As Texas have a bigger player base than their counterparts at Omaha i would take them to beat the points spread of +14 as given by most sports bookmakers.
