Reckon they should just offer the job as a prize in the national lottery.

I don't agree with going foreign.

Becoming the national coach should be an honour and not just a pay-day.

Employ as many dago advisers as you wish, but I feel your top honcho should be homegrown.

I don't like having foreign managers either.

If England lift the trophy, then it's Enlgand winning with a little help from a Swede.

A manager is as much a part of the team as the players, so why don't we just stick Ronaldinho in there too.

Imagine Arsenal winning the European Cup without an Englishman in the side. Disgraceful. Don't tell Arsenal fans that though.

Or even worse Liverpool doing it with a load of Spaniards - do I look bothered?

Now imagine Portugal had beaten Greece in the last Euro Championships.... Horrendous with a Brazilian coach, although no one in Portugal would have cared.

of course in his playing days Sam Allardyce was a centre half of finesse and timing, known for inch perfect 60 yard cross field passes and was often compared to Puskas in his skills, Bobby Moore in his reading of the game and Des Walker with his pace

His Bolton side shows the same attributes and completely overshadows Butcher's minimal football achievements.

What?  Are you crazy?  Ahead of the silky skills and lethal finishing of Peter Crouch?
