Just got back from a quick trip and just thought Id post some info for any blondeutes going - its is changing so quickly!

Basically, the Caesars Palace card room is quality.  Two tournaments a day with a fantastic structure.  12 noon, $80 + one $50 add on.  Effectively becomes a 4500 chip, $130 freezout as rebuy is 3000 so you have got to have it. 40 minute clock - yes 40-mins and 60-100 runners.

7pm, same structure but $100 plus $120, so effectively a $220 freezout.  Both great chances to play poker with a fantastic structure, made all the better if you win one and batter some yanks as I managed to do :-)

Ceasars are also mirroring EVERY WSOP event in the summer with an exact 10% copy of the tourne the day before e.g. main event $1000 instead of $10000 - allowing practice at a reasonbale price.  I think alot of us that went last year played the Palms mini festival - this looks like it will present some great options to eithger a) practice or b) enjoy the WSOP experioence at a bit less cost lol

Also, a $300 at the Wynn Tues-Thru Thurs at 12, with $500 Sat and Sun at 12 - again great structure and a slightly cheaper alternative to the Bellagio.

Its only 8 months since my last visit, and from a poker persepctive it just keeps getting better - although Spearmint Jhinos gone down hill a bit ha ha

Thanks for the info Claypole - I'm off to Vegas in four weeks.  Staying at Caesars and was hoping I wouldn't have to look too far for $100ish buy in tournaments - so Bob's my uncle!
