Virgin Direct website price now BACK upto £763 Sad

I paid a little bit more than that for one of the nicer seats upstairs.  Saved a few quid on the hotel though.

What was that like? I've been looking at Vegas flights and, as I'm 6'2", I'm a bit wary of sitting in standard economy seats for ten hours. Would you say the extra is worth it? Exactly how much room is there in the standard seats for a lanky sod like me?

I am 6ft 3in and would say that unless you can guarantee yourself an exit row seat the extra money to fly the premium economy section in Virgin is well worth it.  Sitting in Virgin economy for people with long legs is not a pleasant experience and not my idea of how to kick off a nice holiday/experience!

Matt, you'll be fine though. You can just attach your bars to the overhead locker and swing from there for the flight.

This is quite a good flight search site - www.cheapflights.co.uk.

It seems to pick up spare seats being sold on charter flights as well as scheduled flights.

Cheers,

If your flying Virgin make sure you join the frequent flyer club.New York is worth about 5000 points and you only need 20000 to upgrade. so if you fly 2-3 times a year its worth it....and its free.

I'm in the BMI club so I'll be adding them to that. Not too far off a free flight to Vegas!
