The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

after the loss to villa today (hammering?), and portsmouth in the best form of their season,  its not looking good for small heath...

sorry ian, I will chirp no more. (well maybe a little bit more...)

In all seriousness, I was suprised to see just how much bloos have become totally reliant on the ol' long-ball game, even against our shoddy b-string defence. Doesn't shine too good a light on Steve Bruce imo.

Bruce will receive an extra £2.5m if he stays til the end of the season (if he walks he loses it), so Mr potato head is there to stay i'm afraid.
I think the result against West Brom was the death nell to be honest, at the time i did think V**la would send us down but a couple of scrappy draws of late have prolonged the misery.
We are at home to Blackburn (a horrible bogey team for us) and away at Everton next, whereas Portsmouth are away at charlton and home to Sunderland so we need a miracle.
This result secured V**la, what a time to capitulate.

I have had text after text today rubbing it in and i am officially in hiding, sick as a dog.

Glad someone else has got faith in the mighty Reds to be playing Championship footy next season.

Could be a lot of lunchtime kickoffs in the Midlands!!!

After the last few years of derbies, I can honestly say I know how you feel (in a real-enkleman-like sense...).

Ah well, every cloud - there's always that cold, wet away day at the mighty Southend United for small heath to look forward to next season....
