just thought i would say when i first started playing live maybe 12 months or so ago now there used to be only 2 live games a week in manchester - Sunday/Wednesday
now there is tourneyments 5 days a week cash games 7 days aweek
gone are the days when we had to travel up to blackpool on a tuesday/friday/saturday, personally i still go up there because it is a well run cardroom, only normally on a friday/saturday nowadays though
you can really tell the explosion of poker in 12 months we have gone from notalot to everynight,

Hey Stewart.
I believe Blackpool are going to go Toe to Toe, against The Circus in Manchester. What do you think that will result in. 2 mediocre comps or will players stay at the Circus. Or go to the more established Blackpool, which whilst it doesnt give food to us poor starving players, it does get run well, and with the added bonus of finally getting House Dealers until the wee small hours, things lok to be getting better.
I'm a little undecided. A longer drive for a better structure or shorter drive for free food.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Tough one.

i would go to the circus its getting better run everycomp, the structure there isnt much in it, and longer rebuy periods
also got valet parking lol, if u compare tuesdays circus is full every tuesday i think blackpool gets 60-70 runners, circus takes 8-10k blackpool im not sure

Having just read the new Blackpool schedule I would say that Blackpool would offer the best value. 2 hours of rebuys at 50. Same as the Circus. Won't be much in it. Except for the 30 minute drive there and back. Will definately have to see how it goes. Have The Circus improved their Ante Structure coz I ain't playing in a 50 comp where they double up the antes every 15 minutes. It's just about bearable in a 20 game not that I'd be happy with that. So unless that changes Blackpool for me every time. See you on Fridays and Saturdays

Neb is spot on aboout the structure at the circus. Although the way my poker is the more luck that is introduced the better I think....lol
More choice in manchester and the NW is great i think.
Stuart you remind me of someone called swood....lol....you get bored with your nom de plume??
