I had my question about pocket aces read out. I quoted a bad beat I sufferred at the hands of RobertHM the other night, although rather than quoting the brief I referred to him as "the fish went all in with Queen King Off suit"
Thought this weeks show was much more serious than previous weeks, but I also learnt much more.

Yes, A lot more serious this week.
I got some stick on the PokerZone Forum for my (attempted) humour from one of two guys on weeks 1 & 2. They lambasted me for "lying" when I said I'd won the Beat The Presenter in week 1 (I did say I won it, in fact I finished 6th, it was a misread...) & for having a "tease" about the Scots & Welsh.
So I thought I'd better tone it down. I am not entirely sure that was the right decision, to tell the truth. I really just want to be myself, but it seems my irony was too deadpan, & whooshed many "new" viewers. Or, more likely, just not funny.
I was mightily relieved to hear my original, & worst, detractor write in to the show last week & say he had "got used" to me.
I am not sure I did the right thing last night by toning it down though. I like to behave exactly as I would if I were with a bunch of mates. Some irony, some humour, some elbows in ribs, &, where due, genuine respect.
