I dont get it?

How come the journalist had his cheque and no one else did?

What was the cross about?

If it was the original...is it cashable without the other brothers signature?

I think the others must have got their money as well. We just didn't see that bit.

The cross was from the first episode.  Remember when the 15th century Spanish ( maybe Portuguese ) ship came across the tanker.  The guys body was found in present day.  That's where the cross came from.

I don't know about the cheque.  But the show was in colour, it must be real.  Black and White TV is always faked, but colour is real.
