The minute the final whistle went, all I've heard is helicopters and sirens.

A bunch of the local yobs were chanting something about England losing ,while they practiced throwing a traffic cone in the air earlier. I briefly chatted to them, but they were too drunk to understand. I can't understand how they could be so happy about a British team losing.

there is a little matter of a huge rivalry that goes back centuries where the english were not very nice to the Scottish. this sticks in folks minds as well as the illegal union of the UK. i for one am Scottish and ill always love seeing england getting beat. no one will change my mind on it because england are rivals as well as being neighbours. viva l'eccosee for the next world cup i say and maybe Sark will get on his St Andrews flag boxers instead of the (illegal) union jack. out of interest sark, if Scotland were playing england, who would you support?

that's exciting.
What's the reason for the riot? Do you know?
cant you guess? England exited the world cup today, at the hands of the Great Portugal!

its so strange, there were about 200 riot police in the end,40+arrests but i cant find anything about it on the news or internet. apparantly the whole thing is to do with the 35 year sentance of an un named man in a high profile courtcase this week.the rioters were holding huge signs saying free said man(i cant mention his name as it has been kept out of the papers for legal reasons, but anyone from notts will know the name). to be honest it was one of the weidest nights ever.

Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life. Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft? Of course not.

This time next year when IFM takes the time to make a serious post again, remind me to respond by saying LMAO.
I don't agree with everthing Mad has said myself, but thats her opinion and I respect it.
