I'm a friend of Kevin Seeger's from back in the states.  This is a great coverage.   His nickname is Dude.

Now Thomas Kremser is introducing the players. Abdullaziz Abdullaziz, who I have never heard of before this week, got a huge cheer, but I guess that could be because we are in France, & he's a Parisian.

Hi Stumpy, welcome aboard, & we wish "Dude" well.

Can you comment on his thinking last night when he laid down KK to a small bet on a flop of J-7-3 rainbow. It had us all agog here!

I gather they have "dropped back" the blinds to 3k-6k. Ben said he was delighted!

If Dude laid down that hand it shows that he's playing his best game.  He must have seen something in the other player.  Do you remember how much he raised preflop?

Action began at exactly 5.30 pm.

Thomas announced the blinds will reduce to 3k 6k, running ante 500, 1 hour levels.

a hello, and thank you, from the American states for your coverage. so that hand went down as reported: Kevin laid down pocket K's to a pot-sized bet after the raggedy flop? guess he thought he ran into rockets? or just really wanted to make the final table with a workable stack? who knows?

i've watched his online play and he has game. let's hope cards come his way today. thx again!

I think after catching that lucky break with KQh vs AK, I bet Dude needed a breath.  He's good enough to win this thing.  Don't count him out.

Since you asked Tikay, I'm tipping Ben to win. This is based on nothing more than the fact than he's got a history of winning stuff from unlikely situations. He once beat me at StreetFighter (legendary 90's computer game) playing the game from behind a curtain, through which he couldn't see the screen. If anyone can pull it off, it's him...
