26 tables means around 230 other players have to sit patiently waiting to act while Mr Big Ego does his table juggling act. But I bet a pound to a pinch of shit that that never crossed his mind.  Decent manners - what are they? Gotta love Americans, eh?

To be fair I didn't hear many of the reminders you get when nearing your time limit to act.

He's also trying to prove a point to a poker site that banned him for being a bot.

Presumably, then, he often plays a lot of tables at once, & the other 200 players all sit patiently while he indulges his greed.

Stars & the other majors will doubtless act soon to stop this, by only allowing a maximum of x tables at a time. It's the nature of things that you have to legislate for the lowest common denominator.

they've allocated a certain period of time, which they deem to be fair, for each player to play their hand.

when the time is up your hand is dead so if he takes too long then its only to his own detriment as he cant play his hand.

anything else is within the pokerstars time regulations.

Stars love him, Conrad wrote a Cardplayer article about him. Many people are doing this at stars now, rainkhan just lead the way in showing everyone that with stars software it's easier to just do it all on one screen. I never timed out when I used to do it, nobody ever moaned in the chatbox about me. All I used to get was "LOL you're on 13 of my tables"

It's healthy when playing online poker to always know where your edge comes from. Recognising situations where an opponent is paying you off, where you would have folded, is critical to maintain your confidence.

In the privacy of his own home (or his pals home as the case may be here) he can surely say what he likes. He hasn't typed it in the chat box or called the player by his screen name. Sure the video is public, but isn't focused enough to make out who the player is.

It could well be that he recognises that someone who is loose at the poker table, or makes poor callls isn't necessary a muppet in real life. They could be a highly intelligent expert is his/her own field, but just not that good at poker. There is a diffence between ignorance and stupidity.

The player in the video may well be a groovy philosopher who recognises this. They just called them a "muppet" to save time. Don't want to keep those 200 players waiting longer than necessary.

I'll sometimes speak to the screen, calling players names when I see bad plays. It increases my confidence, and resultantly my profits.
I have the greatest respect for a fellow human being in real life of course, for the reasons mentioned above. Calling them such names where only I can hear hurts no-one and i don't believe it makes me a bad person.

I would have thought that as well as being a community, this poker forum encourages players to do just that, by improving their game.

I wouldn't hold your breath on this one. The sites where players are raking $20k a month suddenly deciding that they will only let them rake $5k instead. Or better still, raking $0k a month because they've moved to a site that will accomodate them.

I know what you mean. I had to wait behind some old lady fiddling with coupons in Tesco today. No considereation for others. We should do what the innuits do, and get them to walk out into the snow when they start becoming a burden on society and inconviencing us youngsters.

I recall playing in the Northern Lights festival in Blackpool last year.

I made a silly mistake after a few hours solid play in one of the pot limit comps, calling off half my stack with top pair when my uber-tight opponent had an overpair tatooed to his forehead.

A good looking young-ish gentleman at the table announced that it was a "brave" call.

I knew I'd fouled up. I'd prefer it if he'd just called it a stupid play, as that's exactly what it was.

Although 'retard' in undoubtedly a jeuvenile insult, I suspect it's overuse in the US makes it less insulting than if it was used by civilised european types...

As the chap is in the privacy of his own home, and is in 'full combat mode' with 26 tables going, judging his character on that short clip is a bit harsh in my opinion.
